is a graduate of Presbyterian College and the University of South Carolina School of Law. While in law school, Jessica was a member of Phi Delta Phi Honor Society and served on the Legislative Counsel of the Student Bar Association. She was admitted to the South Carolina Bar Association in November 2006 and is currently admitted to the Georgetown County Bar Association and the United States District Court, S.C. Division. After graduating law school, Jessica worked as an Associate at Tompkins and McMaster, LLP in Columbia, S.C. She later worked as an Associate with McNair Law Firm in Myrtle Beach, S.C., specializing in labor and employment law and civil defense litigation. Jessica is now a Partner at the Stokes Law Firm, LLC and practices personal injury law, workers' compensation law and other general practice areas.

She then practiced defense litigation at McCutchen Blanton Johnson & Barnette, LLP in Columbia, S.C. Hanna most recently served as an adjunct Professor at the Charleston School of Law teaching two classes of Legal Research and Writing. She is now a Partner at the Stokes Law Firm, LLC and practices real estate and family law as well as other general practice areas.
